Love's Travel Stops is expanding its compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling network with a new CNG location in West Memphis, Ark. – the company's seventh fast-fill station along I-40.
The fueling station, which will have fast-fill CNG for heavy-duty trucks and a CNG fueling option for passenger vehicles, will allow commercial carrier Swift Transportation to add to its growing CNG fleet, Love's says.
“With the opening of this location, professional drivers and motorists can travel more than 1,300 miles along I-40 between West Memphis; Arkansas; and Williams, Ariz., using Love's CNG,” says Frank Love, co-CEO of Love's. “Expanding our offerings along this major interstate, and others across the country, makes CNG a viable option for more types of trucking applications.”
Love's anticipates CNG to be available at the West Memphis location by spring 2015. Its other fast-fill locations include two in Oklahoma City; Willis, Texas; Houston; Dallas; Ft. Worth, Texas; and Katy, Texas.
Other fast-fill locations coming soon, Love's says, are Rockwall, Texas; San Antonio; Seguin, Texas; Amarillo, Texas; Burbank, Ohio; Williams, Ariz.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Ardmore, Okla.; Webbers Falls, Okla.; and another in West Memphis, Ark.
