LCTA Eyeing CNG Station To Serve Possible Fleet

A report in The Time Leader (Wilkes-Barre, Pa.) says the Luzerne County Transportation Authority, which serves commuters in northeastern Pennsylvania, is trying to work out a deal with UGI Penn Natural Gas to build a compressed natural gas (CNG) filling station.

The new fueling site would be located in Forty Fort and could accommodate a prospective fleet of about 60 CNG vans. Right now, the only CNG filling station in UGI's service area is the River Valley Transit Authority in Williamsport.
