Convenience store owner and operator Kwik Trip Inc. has opened its newest compressed natural gas (CNG) station in Verona, Wis.
Located at 2145 County Rd. PB, this is the company's 13th CNG refueling facility. It joins seven others in Wisconsin, as well as four in Minnesota and one in Cedar Falls, Iowa. More sites are scheduled to come online in the company's territory through 2013.
Dane County Public Works will have natural gas vehicles (NGVs) that will refuel at the new Verona station, which is open to other fleets and to the public. Kwik Trip's distribution fleet, Convenience Transportation, also operates more than 30 of its own natural gas vehicles.
