Infrastructure Developments Corp. has attained majority ownership of Cleanfield Energy Inc., a company that specializes in performing compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle conversions for fleet customers.
‘Interest in our next-generation CNG conversion kits has been high in several areas of the country,’ says Jim Kisselburg, CEO of Cleanfield. ‘This has driven us to expand our sales efforts nationwide. We will be raising a small amount of capital to expedite our expansion as CNG's low price and emissions are driving communities to look to CNG as a key alternative fuel solution.’
Cleanfield says it is currently bidding on a number of fleet conversions, including contracts in Louisiana and Texas. The company currently has a CNG conversion facility in Tempe, Ariz.
