Green Dragon Adding To Chinese Compressed Natural Gas Refueling Infrastructure

0

Green Dragon Gas, an independent producer and distributor of natural gas, says it has entered into an agreement for the supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) to a refueling station in Wen Xian, Henan Province, China.

The station, which is capable of delivering 30,000 cubic meters of CNG per day, will be used by a fleet vehicle transportation business. Conversion of an existing diesel station is underway, and the conversion of 150 trucks from diesel to CNG will begin soon, the company says.

Green Dragon notes that the growth of its CNG station network complements its strategy to distribute gas produced by its upstream coal-bed-methane operations directly to end users. The company adds that it drilled an additional 67 wells in 2011, representing a 131% year-over-year increase.
