As part of the Tennessee Gas Association's compressed natural gas (CNG) rally across the state last week, the Gibson County Utility District celebrated the grand opening of its public CNG fueling station in Trenton, Tenn.
According to a report in The Jackson Sun, the natural gas distribution company broke ground on the CNG station in September 2014. A Gibson County Utility District leader called the facility ‘the 'greenest' natural gas refueling station in Tennessee,’ as the station is powered using a Kohler natural gas generator and solar panels.
