GE Energy’s Wayne Division Moves CNG Dispenser Production To European Hub

0

Wayne, a business unit of GE Energy, says it has relocated its production of compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensers from Talmona, Italy, to Malmo, Sweden. The move co-locates the manufacturing of CNG products with Wayne's other Global Star V dispensers.

Malmo is the company's European technology and engineering hub, which will allow the CNG-dispenser production to take advantage of many resources, such as engineering, design, assembly and warehousing capabilities. Wayne recently sold its CNG compressor product line.

‘This move helps strengthen our focus on innovation in the manufacture of CNG dispensers,’ says Wayne EMEA President Damian Tracey. ‘Wayne CNG dispensers lead in technology and support our CNG industry customers' needs – whether those clients are original equipment manufacturer compressor packagers, engineering procurement construction companies, independent retailers or major oil companies.’

Wayne's key CNG dispenser models are the Global Vista and Global Star units, which are marketed primarily in Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. The company's line of alternative-fuel dispensers also includes products for liquefied petroleum gas (propane autogas) and AdBlue diesel exhaust fluid.
