Galileo Technologies says SPATCO Energy Solutions, the company's distributor in North America, has inked a deal to supply Cryobox liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology to Terra Energy Group.
The Cryobox will be installed in Terra Energy Group's oil and gas fields in North Dakota, where well-head gas will be converted to 8,000 gallons of LNG per day. Right now, that gas is being flared off in the production fields.
‘The Galileo Cryobox, with its scalable capacity, adaptable footprint and portability, offers North American companies a time-efficient and cost-effective LNG production solution,’ says Jeff Dailey, president and CEO of SPATCO.
The companies say the Cryobox is scheduled to be operational in early 2015.
