EVO Trillium, a joint venture between Trillium CNG and EVO CNG, has initiated construction on a new compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling facility for heavy-duty carrier Central Freight Lines.
The station, which is scheduled to come online in the coming months, is located at Central Freight Lines' terminal on East Loop 820 South in Fort Worth, Texas. The fast-fill facility will feature four dual-hose CNG dispensers that can accommodate Class 8 trucks as well as light-duty natural gas vehicles. It will be open to the public 24 hours a day.
‘With the addition of this Fort Worth site, EVO CNG is joining with Central Freight Lines in creating the critical infrastructure required to meet our clean fleet initiative,’ says Don Orr, president and CEO of Central Freight Lines.
He notes that his company already has more than 100 heavy-duty NGVs in operation, as well as two other CNG stations located in Texas.
