ET Environmental Corp. LLC has completed work on developing guidelines and best practices for natural gas vehicle (NGV) maintenance facilities in Wisconsin – an assignment that the company began on behalf of the Wisconsin State Energy Office in April.
The ‘Natural Gas for Transportation Vehicle Repair Garage Guidelines’ report, available in its entirety here, offers fleet technicians, maintenance facility managers and other stakeholders various processes and checklists for upgrading existing maintenance facilities to comply with building code requirements for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles. The goal of the report was to help facility managers and owners modify their shops in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
‘We appreciate the thorough job ET Environmental did on this project,’ says Kevin Vesperman from the state's Division of Energy Services. ‘It moves the ball forward on adoption of CNG as a transportation fuel in Wisconsin.’
He notes that the report will be distributed throughout the state in partnership with Wisconsin Clean Cities.
