Encana Natural Gas recently gave the City of Riverton, Wyo., $12,000 to support a pilot program for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.
According to a report from County 10, a news source serving Fremont County, the city fleet will put the money toward its first natural gas vehicle conversion, which Mayor Ron Warpness said “makes sense,” given the prevalence of natural gas production in the area.
A CNG fueling site is located at The Pit Stop at 819 S. Federal Blvd. in Riverton, which is operated by Bailey Enterprises Inc.
