North American transportation giant C.R. England will be hosting a special new event – its first Natural Gas Shipper Symposium – on Aug. 6 in Park City, Utah.
The event, which will convene at 1:00 p.m. at Deer Valley Resort in the city, will highlight how natural gas can be used in the trucking sector by offering an educational symposium and a hands-on view of heavy-duty natural gas vehicles. C.R. England's own Freightliner M2 compressed natural gas (CNG) tractors will be featured.
Utah Lt. Gov. Greg Bell will deliver remarks during the event, along with presentations from C.R. England senior executives and industry experts from organizations such as Love's Travel Stops, Cummins Westport, Shell and Clean Energy Fuels.
‘CNG tractors are one of the best alternative fuels currently available,’ says Dean England. ‘We are incredibly excited to be the largest refrigerated carrier to incorporate CNG tractors into our fleet and see great potential for future expansion.’
In addition to Utah, C.R. England also operates NGVs in Ontario, Calif.
