Commonwealth Energy Group LLC says it will add a public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in the borough of Dunmore, Pa., by early 2015.
The Scranton Times-Tribune reports that the energy services company, which is headquartered in Dunmore, wants to begin the project within at least the next eight weeks. The $2 million station will feature four to six pumps, with UGI Corp. providing gas.
Atlanta-based ET Environmental will construct the station, whose exact location is yet to be revealed.
There are currently no other CNG fueling stations in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, the report says.
