According to a report in the Daily Camera (Boulder, Colo.), Precision Plumbing and Heating is replacing its 20-unit fleet with trucks from Boulder Electric Vehicle in a deal valued at $1.4 million.
Precision will take delivery of the first electric truck later this month and ultimately replace its remaining 19 trucks in two phases through 2014. The company says each of Boulder Electric Vehicle's trucks will yield annual cost savings of $5,000.
