Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has reported that its delivered volume of natural gas for transportation applications was 55.5 million gallons in the fourth quarter of 2013, up from 51.7 million gallons delivered in Q4 2013.

For all of calendar-year 2013, the company delivered 214.4 million gallons, compared to 194.9 million gallons during 2012.

The volumes represent deliveries of liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG) and renewable natural gas (RNG) to customers and its network of public stations, as well as the fuel it uses via providing operations and maintenance services to customers.

‘Over the last year, we made significant strides in building out our fueling infrastructure, establishing relationships with new customers and expanding our relationships with existing customers,’ says Andrew J. Littlefair, Clean Energy's president and CEO. ‘We believe this will enable Clean Energy to capture a substantial share of the new and large trucking market, as well as extending our existing market position in the more established natural gas markets of refuse, transit and airports.’
