Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. (CDTi), a California-based provider of vehicle-emission control technology, has expanded its DuraFit product line and introduced the DuraFit diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) for the heavy-duty diesel vehicle aftermarket.
The company says the DOC leverages CDTi’s synergized-platinum group metal technology, transforms exhaust stream pollutants into less harmful compounds, enhances diesel particulate filter performance and reduces the need for platinum group metals (PGMs). First sales of DuraFit DOCs are expected by year’s end.
