GreenPower Motor Co. Inc., an electric bus manufacturer focused on the North American market, has authorized City View Bus Sales & Service Ltd. to sell its suite of all-electric heavy-duty buses in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime Provinces in Canada.
The two companies signed an agreement that officially names City View Bus as a non-exclusive authorized Factory Representative.
City View Bus, established in 1999, says it offers an array of models, products and services to numerous transit agencies and private operators throughout Eastern Canada. The company also offers a significant base of end users in the industry, with three locations in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
Phillip Oldridge, CEO of GreenPower, says the company chose to authorize City View Bus to sell its zero-emissions vehicles seeing as the manufacturer’s industry roots in Eastern Canada will help accelerate GreenPower’s sales strategy and, further, given that City View Bus has a team in place that already knows the product and end buyer.
