Chrysler Group LLC says it intends to introduce natural-gas-powered trucks in the U.S. market this year, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Automaker Fiat SpA, the majority owner of Chrysler, currently uses compressed natural gas engines in some of its European models. Chrysler's five-year plan includes delivering commercial vans to the U.S. this year under the Ram brand, based on Fiat's trucks platforms, the report says.
