Classic Chevrolet, a large Dallas-area auto dealership, has debuted its own compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station – the first dealership-owned CNG facility in the U.S.
The station, which is located on William D. Tate Ave. in Grapevine, Texas, has been dubbed ‘Classic Clean Fuels.’ Ethanol and biodiesel are also available at the facility, and the dealership says it will soon be adding an electric-vehicle charging station.
‘Many of our customers are already making plans to convert their entire fleet [to CNG] over the next year,’ says Ken Thompson, founder of Classic Chevrolet parent company The Thompson Group.
Classic Chevrolet offers the full complement of Chevy bi-fuel CNG vehicles, such as the Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD. Thompson notes that the 2015 bi-fuel CNG Chevy Impala is scheduled to arrive at Classic this summer.
