Chesapeake Energy Corp., the U.S.' second-largest natural gas producer, has sold all of its investments in Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a provider of natural gas and fueling structures for the transportation sector.
According to a Reuters report, Chesapeake's 1.1% stake in Clean Energy was a $10 million investment, which rose by $3 million before the sale. In addition, Chesapeake sold $100 million in convertible notes for Clean Energy for $85 million in cash.
