amp Trillium LLC, a joint venture between Trillium CNG and ampCNG, has opened a public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) station at 4011 16th S.W. in Canton, Ohio, that will primarily serve the heavy-duty natural gas truck fleet of Frito-Lay North America.

This site is located off U.S. 30/U.S. 65 and across from Frito-Lay's Canton plant. The station was designed to enable three Class 8 trucks to fuel simultaneously at 10-12 GGE per minute, enabled by Trillium CNG's proprietary hydraulic intensifier (HY-C) technology.

The facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and accepts all major credit cards.

‘We're proud to support one of the largest CNG fleets in the country and to be playing a significant role in the effort to create the economic and environmental opportunity that CNG provides,’ says Donna Rolf, president and general counsel of ampCNG.

The amp Trillium joint venture was formed in 2012.
