Illinois-based Broadwind Energy Inc., whose many service and product offerings include compressed natural gas (CNG) compression packages and virtual CNG pipelines, has announced the departure of President and CEO Peter C. Duprey, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
Stephanie K. Kushner, Broadwind’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, will assume the role of interim CEO while the company’s board of directors conducts a search for a permanent replacement. The change is effective immediately.
David P. Reiland, chairman of the board, comments, “We thank [Duprey] for his contributions and wish him the best with his future endeavors.”
In addition to its CNG offerings, Broadwind specializes in providing gears and gearing systems to the energy and infrastructure markets, mainly in the wind power; oil and gas; mining and steel industries.
