During a meeting on Monday night, the city council of Athens, Ala., approved the construction of two new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations – one public and one for the Athens Public Works Department.
According to the city's News Courier, the public fast-fill and private slow-fill stations will cost approximately $600,000, and the former could be operational within six months. The public station will be sited on city-owned property.
