Virginia-based Better Fuels and CNG Interstate, headquartered in Oklahoma, have joined Alliance AutoGas as authorized propane vehicle conversion centers. The organization now numbers 100 member companies in its network.
CNG Interstate has traditionally specialized in compressed natural gas conversions for light- and medium-duty fleet vehicles.
‘From propane supply agreements with competitive pricing to EPA-certified Prins propane systems installed at certified conversion centers, [Alliance AutoGas] offers a systematic process to ensure our customers achieve their goals for safety, efficiency and ROI,’ says Russell Riecken, managing partner of CNG Interstate.
Better Fuels will focus on autogas conversions in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
‘With Fredericksburg being centrally located on I-95 between D.C. and Richmond, our conversion center can accommodate fleet vehicles from the large metropolitan areas of Richmond, Charlottesville, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Alexandria, Arlington and Washington D.C.,’ says Better Fuels' Pete Shanley.
