Alliance AutoGas has added to its network four conversion centers that are certified to perform propane autogas retrofits on more than 200 vehicle types. The new centers are Carburetor Connection, Kirkland, Wash.; Fox Valley Truck, Appleton, Wis.; The Motor Company, Marinette, Wis.; and Sunbury Motors, Sunbury, Pa.
The organization says these centers are equipped to implement both bi-fuel and dedicated propane vehicle conversions using Prins vapor and liquid injection technology. The bi-fuel Prins Vapor Sequential Injection (Prins VSI) system can be transferred from one vehicle to another, unlike a propane-dedicated liquid system. The autogas aftermarket conversion system is transferrable to any vehicle with the same number of engine cylinders, and a retired vehicle can be re-sold in its original configuration.
