Canwest Propane, a Calgary-based subsidiary of midstream oil and gas service provider Gibson Energy Inc., has joined the Alliance AutoGas network in Canada.
Through its partnership with the alliance, Canwest Propane will provide regional fleets in western Canada with a complete program for switching vehicles to run on propane autogas. Services will include propane vehicle conversions, autogas refueling infrastructure support and propane fuel supply.
‘Propane autogas is the most widely used alternative fuel in the world for a reason, and we're excited to make it available to more Canadian fleets through the Alliance AutoGas program,’ says Cliff Hauer, British Columbia area manager of Canwest Propane.
Canwest Propane, which was established in 1987, is headquartered in Calgary and has local branches throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. The company is one of Canada's largest retailers of propane energy solutions.
