Agility Fuel Systems has released a new side-mount compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel system for Class 7 and 8 truck applications.
‘We are excited to introduce our next-generation side-mount fuel system,’ says Barry Engle, CEO of Agility. ‘It enables fleets to reduce fuel costs, their single largest operating expense, by as much as 50 percent. Our new CNG system utilizes the latest technology and system design to provide the long range, fast fill times and highest safety standards demanded by over-the-road truck customers.’
The company notes that the systems, which feature Type 4 neck- or strap-mounted CNG cylinders, are available in capacities ranging from 30 DGE to 60 DGE. Agility has incorporated a fuel management module that has been ‘re-engineered to streamline gas flow dynamics for faster fill times and better fill quality,’ as well as designed a ‘drop and go’ bracket system to facilitate quick installations on OEMs' assembly lines.
