Alliance AutoGas says it recently secured U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certifications for propane autogas system conversions on 10 model-year 2012 and 2013 Ford vehicle platforms.
The certifications cover propane vehicle conversions using Prins VSI bi-fuel autogas technology. Alliance AutoGas is the exclusive distributor of Prins products in the U.S.
The EPA certifications cover the following MY 2012 and 2013 Ford platforms, in both two- and four-wheel-drive configurations: 5.0-liter F-150 pickups; 6.2-liter F-250 pickups; 6.2-liter F-250 bed-delete trucks; 6.2-liter F-350 pickups; and 6.2-liter F-350 bed-delete trucks.
‘These certifications give our Alliance members broad coverage with the F-series fleet,’ says Stuart Weidie, president of Alliance AutoGas. ‘Once we complete the 6.8-liter testing in progress, we will have a wide range of F-series vehicles. Our certifications are coming in at a rapid rate, and we continue to build our support and training network throughout the country.’
