OpConnect LLC says its electric vehicle (EV) charging stations now accept Wright Express fleet cards, enabling the company's chargers to be integrated into a larger number of public and private fleet operations.
‘This is important because authenticating electric vehicle charging stations with the Wright Express card is a mandatory requirement for federal fleets,’ says Mike Dixon, president of Go EV, OpConnect's exclusive national distributor.
‘Our government and commercial fleet card customers will expand their need for card acceptance at EV charging stations and other alternative fuel locations,’ adds David Maxsimic, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Wright Express.
OpConnect notes that its end-to-end EV charging solution includes a secure wireless communications network, billing solutions and mobile phone applications.
