Wyoming Governor to Discuss Natural Gas for High-Horsepower Applications

Gladstein, Neandross and Associates says Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead has confirmed that he will be delivering a keynote address during the upcoming Natural Gas for High Horsepower (HHP) Summit.

Wyoming is the third largest producer of natural gas in the U.S., and the state's liquefied natural gas (LNG) production plants have helped boost the modern LNG transportation industry. Wyoming has hosted several key LNG initiatives, including Burlington Northern's first LNG locomotive project in the 1990s and Alpha Resources' current LNG mine haul truck test project.

During his keynote address, Mead will share his thoughts about the importance of developing a state energy strategy, and he will discuss Wyoming's effort to expand opportunities and identify impediments to using more natural gas in high-horsepower applications.

The HHP Summit convenes in Chicago later this month, and Mead's address is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17. For more information, click HERE.
