John Walsh has been named CEO of Vehicle Production Group LLC (VPG), the Miami-based maker of the MV-1 wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
Walsh most recently served as president and CEO of National Bus Sales & Leasing, where he grew revenue 100% through deals such as a $25 million order from the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system for paratransit compressed natural gas (CNG) buses.
The MV-1 is available with an OEM-engineered and -assembled CNG fueling option that offers a range of approximately 290 miles, VPG says.
