TruStar Energy LLC says it is building its first compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station in Oklahoma: a fast-fill facility for Seaboard Corp. subsidiary High Plains Bioenergy.
Seaboard Foods is currently deploying more than 103 Kenworth CNG-powered tractors with the Cummins Westport ISX12 G engine. These heavy-duty trucks are hauling products both locally and in over-the-road applications.
TruStar's station will be a compressor-redundant facility that is designed to accommodate the fleet of Class 8 CNG trucks. It's a private, behind-the-fence operation, the company notes.
