SAE International has announced that the group is hosting a special program, the SAE 2012 Shale Gas Impact on Vehicle Development Symposium, in order to inform stakeholders about how non-traditional natural gas production is affecting advanced transportation.
Convening Aug. 28 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, the symposium will examine the interplay among shale gas exploration, natural gas infrastructure, natural gas vehicle adoption and bi-fuel vehicle production. Discussions will address energy policy and environmental regulations; infrastructure developments; fueling stations; the market for NGVs; and related topics.
