Ryder System Inc. has developed Ryder Locator, a free smartphone application that helps fleet operators pinpoint the nearest Ryder truck fueling, rental or maintenance facility in the U.S. and Canada.
Ryder says searches can be filtered by location or service offering. Once a location is identified, fleet managers can find turn-by-turn directions via a user-friendly map, or use one-touch calling to talk to an on-duty Ryder employee. In addition, the app gives customers instant access to 24/7 emergency roadside assistance.
Designed for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices, Ryder Locator can be found on iTunes, Android Market and BlackBerry App World.
