Enova Systems Inc., a company focused on electric and hybrid-electric drive-system technologies for commercial vehicles, has signed a long-term electric motor supply agreement with Remy International Inc.
Under a five-year agreement, Remy will provide its patented Remy electric motors to Enova for its all-electric drive systems. Enova has already deployed more than 2,000 of its systems into the medium- and heavy-duty truck and bus markets, the company says.
Remy notes that companies such as GM, Daimler, Allison Transmission and AMP Electric Vehicles are among its customers for the patented High Voltage Hairpin (HVH) technology.
