Proterra, a company focused on providing electrification solutions for commercial fleets, has appointed Joe Lunny as a regional sales director. He will have primary responsibility for increasing the company's sales and market share in the Southeastern U.S.
Lunny comes to Proterra with more than 30 years of sales experience in the bus and trucking industry, including time with Transit Properties and New Flyer. While at Transit Properties, he served as the vice president of sales and marketing for two bus dealerships, as well as the CEO of the first commercial-only Blue Bird bus dealership in New England. At New Flyer, he held the position of southeastern regional sales manager.
