Pinnacle Propane LLC, a subsidiary of JP Energy Partners LP that provides propane in the southern and southwestern U.S., has acquired Hiwasse, Ark.-based Tri State Propane, which conducts business in Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.
Tri State Propane offers propane autogas for vehicle fuel, as well as traditional propane filling and services. The company will be rebranded Pinnacle Propane in the coming weeks.
‘This acquisition allows us to enter northwest Arkansas, a vibrant area showing continued population and economic growth,’ says Rob Chalmers, senior vice president of corporate development for Pinnacle Propane.
The company anticipates that all of Tri-State's employees will be retained post-acquisition.
