The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will be on hand during the 98th Pennsylvania Farm Show to tout the work that the department and the state have been doing related to alternative fuels.
The agency's exhibit, called ‘DEP at Home,’ will feature a new ‘Alternative Fuels Garage’ that gives attendees access to both natural gas vehicles (NGVs) and electric vehicles (EVs). Attendees can also learn more about the DEP's Alternative Fuel Vehicle Rebate Program.
‘This year, our exhibit has a renewed focus on alternative fuels,’ says DEP Secretary Chris Abruzzo. ‘I encourage all farm show visitors to stop by and learn how to plug in an electric vehicle, or fuel a truck that runs on compressed natural gas.’
The DEP's exhibit will be in the main hall at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pa., from Jan. 4 to 11.
