Houston-based Nat G CNG Solutions LLC has become a dealer and authorized installer of Omnitek Engineering Corp.'s compressed natural gas conversion systems for diesel-powered vehicles.
‘Our fleet customers are extremely interested in diesel engine conversions and the economic benefits of utilizing natural gas,’ says Balu Balagopal, co-CEO of Nat G CNG Solutions. ‘We look forward to working with Omnitek and accelerating the adoption of natural gas in the region.’
Omnitek, which recently received EPA approval for its conversion technology for the Navistar DT466E and DT530E heavy-duty engine families, says the payback period on its system is often less than two years.
