The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) is presenting three of its core training courses related to compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles in Las Vegas in early February 2013.
NGV Technician & Fleet Operations Safety Training will be held on Mon., Feb. 4, covering safe maintenance practices, fueling procedures and operation of NGVs. CNG Fuel System Inspector Training will convene on Feb. 5-6, providing techniques for inspecting CNG fuel systems, including on-board CNG fuel storage cylinders. And on Feb. 7-8, the institute will present a CNG Fueling Station Operation & Maintenance course, which offers in-depth instruction on best practices for natural gas fueling station operation and maintenance.
NGVi notes that those who sign up for both NGV Technician & Fleet Operations Safety Training and CNG Fuel System Inspector Training by Jan. 14 will receive $100 off their registration.
