NGVi Bringing CNG Refueling Training Courses To California

0

The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) says it is presenting two courses related to compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling – ‘CNG Fueling Station Design Training’ and ‘CNG Fueling Station Operation & Maintenance Training’ – on Nov. 13-16 in Downey, Calif.

The CNG Fueling Station Design Training course, which is scheduled for Nov. 13-14, is tailored to organizations that are purchasing, building, operating or maintaining a CNG fueling station. Designed for fleet operators, equipment vendors, code officials and other professionals, the NGVi course will give detailed technical information related to successfully sizing, designing and specifying a station, as well as information about national codes and regulations, CNG equipment and other key station technologies.

CNG Fueling Station Operation & Maintenance Training (Nov. 15-16) is designed primarily for CNG station maintenance technicians, fleet managers and supervisors responsible for stations, and station owners who contract their maintenance to a third party. The course will cover proper maintenance procedures – especially strategies for preventing oil carryover and water in the natural gas stream from entering the refueling flow – as well as tools for developing and implementing routine maintenance and safety plans.
