Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition, a DOE Clean Cities organization that operates in the western North Carolina area, has partnered with Altech-Eco Corp. and utility PSNC Energy to present ‘The Compelling Case for Natural Gas Vehicles Workshop’ in Asheville, N.C., on July 17.
The event, which will convene at 8:45 a.m. at the WNC Agricultural Center and run all day, will include case studies from fleets that are currently using NGVs, as well as breakout sessions that focus on both light- and heavy-duty NGVs. Various vehicles will also be on display, and representatives from many NGV equipment and service providers will be on hand.
Additionally, Stephen Yborra from NGVAmerica and the Clean Vehicle Education Foundation will be a featured presenter, addressing NGV market trends, drivers and projections, along with issues related to compressed natural gas refueling infrastructure, natural gas vehicles and engines, and CNG station development and ownership.
An afternoon tour will feature PSNC Energy's fast-fill CNG station and Altech-Eco's NGV conversion facility.
