NGV Motori USA, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Italian natural gas vehicle (NGV) conversion firm NGV Motori, says the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the company's dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion package for the 7.6-liter MaxxForce DT engine from Navistar Inc.
NGV Motori USA also holds EPA approvals for diesel-to-CNG conversions of the 6.4-liter Mercedes-Benz/Detroit Diesel 906 engine, as well as for the model-year 2005-2010 Ford E-350 and E-450 Super Duty platforms (the 5.4-liter and 6.8-liter engines, respectively).
