Try-It Distributing Co., a beverage wholesaler and distribution company with a fleet of more than 50 heavy-duty trucks, is working with American Natural Gas LLC (ANG) to develop a public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station in Lancaster, N.Y.
The station, which will be built at 4155 Walden Ave., will be open 24/7 and accept various payment methods, such as Visa, MasterCard, Wright Express and Comdata. Two 200 hp compressors and ‘significant storage’ will be on-site, offering high-volume fast-fill capability for Try-It's fleet of natural gas vehicles and other nearby NGVs.
ANG says the station is expected to be operational by the end of December.
The company notes that other fleets in the area – Lancaster is located just east of Buffalo – can contact ANG to inquire about preferred rates on CNG. Send an email to Zachary Manz at zmanz@americannaturalgas.com.
