A group of clean transportation stakeholders has come together to establish the Alternative Fuel Training Network, a consortium focused exclusively on providing high-level training for alternative fuel vehicle technicians and drivers, as well as refueling infrastructure professionals.
Greg Zilberfarb, CEO of TSN Communications and a longtime resource in the alt-fuels space, spearheaded the creation of the network in order to address the rising prominence of transportation applications for propane, natural gas, biofuels and other fuels.
‘Our trainers are hand-picked professionals who are the best in the business,’ Zilberfarb says. ‘We come to your site at your convenience, and are dedicated to helping your fleet with this important transition at an affordable price.’
The network's trainers include Rob Adams, an engineer who has been involved with the design and installation of nearly 200 hundred compressed natural gas stations; Jenna Higgins Rose, who will lead media training for fleets; Franz Hofmann, a transportation industry veteran with more than 40 years of experience; Bill McGlinchey, who has spent the last 20 years focusing on the technical automotive elements of alternative fuels; and Richard Nelson, who has deep experience in biofuels.
