Virginia Clean Cities (VCC) and the Virginia Oil and Gas Association (VOGA) will be co-hosting the 2014 Appalachian Basin NGV Expo and Conference next month, convening at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on April 14-16.
The groups describe the event, now in its second year, as a ‘regional initiative’ that brings municipal, state and private fleet administrators together with product and service providers from the natural gas vehicle supply chain for educational opportunities and a technology showcase.
Representatives from major NGV OEMs such as Volvo, Honda and GM are confirmed to speak, and a number of dignitaries – including Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Morgan Griffith – have also been invited to participate. Educational tracks include ‘City Success Stories,’ ‘Infrastructure Needs,’ ‘Why Natural Gas is Good for Business,’ and many others.
