The Ben Franklin Shale Gas Innovation & Commercialization Center has partnered with the Penn State Marcellus Center for Outreach and Research to present the 2012 Natural Gas Utilization Conference, which is taking place Sept. 6-7 at the Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center.

The first day of the event will focus on the use of natural gas in transportation applications, with sessions addressing natural gas vehicles, vehicle/engine conversion technologies and natural gas refueling infrastructure. NGVs will be on display, and providers will be on hand to discuss the vehicles' features and specs.

Day two of the event will examine the uses of natural gas liquids and natural-gas-to-liquids conversion technologies. There will also be a three-hour transportation workshop tailored to stakeholders who are interested in Pennsylvania's natural gas refueling and NGV sectors.
