The Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition, in partnership with the Indiana Motor Truck Association and Americas Commercial Transportation Research Co., is hosting a summit on natural gas as a transportation fuel for logistics fleets on Oct. 17.
Located at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ind., the conference will offer information, data and fleet evaluation tools to guide logistics professionals in determining if liquefied natural gas or compressed natural gas is right for their fleet.
Guest speaker Jim Poe, the Indiana Department of Revenue's special tax and support administration deputy commissioner, will discuss the $15,000 tax credit for natural gas Class 8 truck purchases in the state.
“Attendees will leave the summit with a solid understanding of all considerations when deploying a natural gas fleet, and the resources and contacts to make a decision moving forward,” says Kellie Walsh, executive director of the Greater Indiana Clean Cities.
