The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is hosting a natural gas vehicle (NGV) research workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 25, in Golden, Colo.
According to the event website, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office is looking for input from NGV stakeholders to “understand and prioritize research needs to increase the efficiency and reduce emissions of medium- and heavy-duty natural gas vehicles.”
Discussion topics will include engine efficiency, emissions and after-treatment technologies, and fuel system enhancements and onboard storage.
As reported, the meeting is expected to inform a DOE funding announcement that will be issued later this year.
The deadline to register is Friday, July 21.
