Mainstay Fuel Technologies Inc., a designer and manufacturer of components used in compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems, says it has completed the consolidation of its operations into a new 60,000 square-foot facility in Piedmont, S.C.
Located along the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte, the plant is within one to two hours of the company's primary heavy-duty truck production facilities. As part of the consolidation, Mainstay says it has also significantly expanded its production capacity with the build-out of a new assembly line to produce its back-of-cab and side-mounted CNG fuel systems.
“The consolidation into one facility and the expansion of our production capacity supports our business plan and will enable us to better serve the growing demand for our products in various heavy-duty truck markets,” says Rod Grandy, Mainstay's CEO.
